I am excited to be the new Executive Director of the HEALS program (Healthcare Excellence Academy Lab School). This is a new program funded by the Virginia Department of Education. Before accepting this position, I worked as the Director of Capital Projects for Bristol Virginia Public Schools for the past two years. I retired as a high school principal from Wythe County Public Schools in 2020. I spent thirty years in education as a teacher, coach, and administrator. The last fifteen years of my career I served as the principal of Coeburn High School, Eastside High School and George Wythe High Schoo
